BEATNIK, BABY!
For eight years I have been trying to get a particular metal finish to use on an iron bed. I've bought books on patinas and visited all sorts of clever people to help. And they never quite cut it. Until now….
The result is our new Beatnik bed with its dusted cannonball finish which has that wonderfully weathered and lived-in feel I'd been looking for all along. It's rock solid and won't wobble like most of the ones you normally see in shops.
It takes forever and a day to make each one, but it's absolutely worth it.
