Our wooden beds are made from superior A-grade wood that is sustainably sourced –  a very different story to the negative impact of conventionally sourced solid wood furniture. In fact, go to one of the places where our beds are made and you often only have to look out of the window to see the forests where the wood comes from. Once the trees are cut, they are inspected, dried outside, sawn and then dried again in a huge kiln before being turned into a bed!

We’ve also taken quite a bit of trouble over the wood slats that form the bases of all our beds. These cost us a lot more than many of the flimsy ones on the market, but we prefer to sacrifice profit for quality and have more people raving about how great our beds are.

Don't call our wooden beds stupid

Rather than trying to have a range of beds to cater for all tastes, we decided from the start only to sell designs that we really love. Lots of people told us we were mad or even stupid. But judging by the numbers of customers we’ve had and the feedback we’ve received, we reckon there are quite a lot of like-minded people out there. The word out on the streets is that the combination of our  oak beds, French antique-style oak beds, elegant Linen beech beds and Scandi-style Norse beds is more than enough choice for the rocket-munching public. Just as long as they’re stocked in all sizes, it seems we’ve covered a lot of people’s bedroom furniture requirements. But we won’t rest on our laurels.

Free returns and fast deliveries

Our small but perfectly formed stock of single, double, kingsize and superking wooden beds (from simple oak to antique reproductions) is available across the UK. If you live in or around London, delivery and installation are free. For areas further away we ask for a small contribution. We also run a bed recycling programme, so we can take away your old bed to be recycled or donated to charity when we deliver your lovely new bed.
If you’ve been trawling the web or traipsing the high street for a comfortable single, double or kingsize wooden bed, we hope we’re a breath of fresh air. In fact, we’re so confident in the quality of our beds that if you aren’t entirely happy with your purchase, we’ll collect it for free and give you all your money back.
