Digital Experience Manager

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and other loafing supplies (like mugs and hot water bottles). And we're looking for a super bright Digital Experience Manager to take our website to the next level.

The objective of this role is simple: to ensure we build and maintain a best-in-class website that is insanely easy to use, brings our brand to life and maximises the sales opportunity for our business. You'll use your UX know-how, analytical acumen and passion for amazing experiences to spot and spec out opportunities to step up the performance of our website. You'll work with the Technology team to turn these opportunities into website experience. And you'll ensure all content on our website is deployed and maintained expertly, so it reflects everything the brand is about while giving customers the information they need.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

By being accountable for delivering on the sales, brand and customer experience goals of the website you will…

  • Analyse performance of the website against user and commercial goals using a variety of tools, including website analytics, customer feedback and observations/ideas from the wider business
  • Use these insights and the principles of UX and conversion rate optimisation to identify opportunities to improve the user experience and conversion rates against website goals
  • Write the web design briefs to address these opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the Technology and Creative teams to formulate UX and design solutions to address these briefs
  • Write all UX/web design briefs for any new product categories or service propositions that require a new user experience e.g. web development requirements for selling new product categories
  • Play a lead role in UAT and signing off all improvements to the user experience on the website
  • Utilise conversion rate optimisation tools, carry out split tests and measure the impact of website improvements against commercial, brand and customer experience goals
  • Adjust website improvements according to split test results and utilise these learnings to identify new opportunities to improve the website

By being the ultimate gatekeeper of all content on the website, you will...

  • Manage the web content team to execute the deployment and maintenance of all web content
  • Oversee the deployment of all marketing campaigns and new product launches on the website, ensuring all assets, content and product data are deployed accurately and on time
  • Ensure we have adequate processes in place to monitor the accuracy of web content and product data as well as ensuring the deployment of new content and data on the website is as efficient and error-free as possible
  • Work with our merchandising team to identify opportunities to improve website merchandising, upselling and cross-selling of products

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE

  • You absolutely must have, or be, the following:
  • 5-years' experience as a digital or e-commerce manager with an emphasis on identifying and scoping solutions to improve website user experience
  • A mastery of the principles of kick-a** web design, conversion rate optimisation and user experience (you may even be thinking about writing a book about it)
  • Web analytics wizardry, ideally using Google Analytics
  • A real knack for taking complex problems and devising solutions that are beautifully simple and easy to grasp
  • A scientific mind-set who likes to test things so we know exactly what is working and what needs to be improved upon
  • Confidence in turning data into insights and proactively executing on the decisions we make as a consequence
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to connect with a mix of personalities from techies to design gurus to operational peeps
  • A real can-do attitude with willingness to get your hands dirty, get on with the job and make great things happen
  • A high attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding work to agreed deadlines
