Shack Team Leader - Notting Hill

We are now looking for a wonderful Team Leader to join our Notting Hill Shack to deliver 'knock-your-socks-off' customer service in line with the Loaf experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- To welcome and engage in conversation with every Shack visitor
- Ensure tiptop product knowledge and understanding of the brand at all times in order to portray the Loaf culture and deliver expertise to our customers
- Consistently provide helpful and informed service
- Aid customers with their selections and provide honest opinions and styling advice when required
- Process cash and card transactions
- Assist customers with processing orders online
- Uphold our Cor! Values and adhere to the Loaf Sales Policy
Shack
- Implement and maintain the Loaf image to the highest standard by adhering to the Shack Retail Guidelines
- Ensure visual presentation is upheld with the care you would give to your own home
- Actively rotate stock with consideration of Loaf's most commercial products, to keep showroom fresh and exciting involving VM leads where necessary.
- Undertake replenishment and management in an efficient and timely manner
- Carry out housekeeping tasks in line with Loaf's standards both on and off the shop floor
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Have an awareness of store and stock security requirements
- Inform the relevant manager as and when any showroom or product maintenance is required
General
- To have a passion for the Loaf brand and product
- Work effectively within the team and alongside showroom managers
- Ensure all feedback from customers is passed on in a constructive manner
- Management Responsibilities:
- Resolve tricky customer queries and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction, escalate to the Shack manager when necessary
- Inspire and support the team to provide the best Loaf experience, to directly impact sales
- Observe and mentor the team, to capably provide feedback for improvement and development
- Working with the management team to ensure Shack targets and goals are achieved and budgets maintained
- Deliver training and product updates clearly & effectively to the team, identify when training is necessary
- Effectively delegating and overseeing Loaf daily tasks
- In conjunction with the Manager maintain and set staff rotas
- Opening & closing Shack premises and recording staff attendance, absence etc
- Assuming responsibilities of the Shack Manager in their absence

- Proven previous experience within customer facing roles

- Flexibility and availability to work at our Shack during our Monday to Sunday opening hours
Desirable
- Previous sales experience, including working towards commercially set targets
- An awareness of the market, Loaf's customer base and competitors
- The ability to identify areas for improvement and convey these effectively and positively to the team
- Proven experience leading others within a team
