Training Manager (12 Month Contract - Mat Cover)

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and other laid-back wares that help people lead happier, more relaxed lives. It therefore stands to reason that we need some fabulous, talented Loafers to help us get this right. Training and is big part of what we do at Loaf and we're looking for someone to step into our current Training Manager's shoes whilst she off on mat leave. We're looking for someone to help the Loaf management team assess training needs and to deliver training across the business.

These are the sorts of things that are included:

Systems and Product Training

Delivery of Loaf (Nav) systems training in a systematic and engaging way to ensure that all our customer facing staff are confident using the technology.
Systems and procedure training for all new Loafers.
To be a Loaf (Nav) systems user expert and a key point of contact for systems related queries.

Product Training

Working with the Buying, Design and Marketing teams to design and deliver regular product training for new product launches.
Designing and updating product information sheets for the Cor! Centre and the Shacks.
Looking at innovative and informative ways of delivering product training.

Company Inductions

Giving all Cor! Centre and Engine Room staff a fabulous and informative introduction to the business.
Updating the induction process to meet the changing needs of the business (where appropriate).

Training design and Delivery

Working with senior managers to identify training needs for their teams.
Helping to develop and deliver engaging and Loafy training solutions when a training need has been identified.

Compliance Training

Designing and delivering our annual health and safety training for all Loafers as well as ensuring that newbies get a comprehensive H&S induction when they join the business.
Helping with ongoing compliance training and awareness.

Record Keeping

Keeping accurate records of all training conducted.
Completion of the monthly training KPI.

Key Skills and Experience

A demonstrable track record of having delivered customer service systems training in a retail and / or call centre environment.
Previous experience of having worked with call centre systems and technology.
Experience of having designed training material and designing e-learning.
Preferably experience of having delivered training in a multi-site retail environment (Furniture retail experience would be even better!)
Preferably an in-depth understanding of MS Nav as well as the ability to communicate how this is used in both the Cor! Centre and the Shacks.
Technically savvy and curious with an interest in looking at technology solutions to training needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
