"... borne back ceaselessly into the past".

Yes we've been to see the Great Gatsby. If you've seen our Facebook page or Twitter this week you might have guessed we're hooked.

Gatsby's mansion is an interior junkie's spectacle, all things art deco and opulent. Not quite the laid back comfort you find in a Loafer's home but great nonetheless.

We realised that the old pieces of furniture that inspire our designs have all held their own through the changing fashions. We just like to Loaf them up a bit.

So here's our Loafed up Gatsby pick:

- Rose chaise longue perfect for languorously loafing and draping like Daisy.

- Venice mirror and Lekker lamp for a little Gatsby gilt.

- Chester sofa, a Loaf spin on a old classic Chesterfield.

- Campaign bedside table because it oozes a little 1940's art deco but works in any decade.

Maybe Gatsby was right when he said: "Can't repeat the past?...Why of course you can!"
