How long do I have to return something?

You've got 14 days from delivery to decide if your item is right for your home. All our made-to-order items (things like our upholstered beds, armchairs and sofas) come with a 14-day "rest-drive" period. If something isn't quite right, we'll collect it for a £95 fee, but the original delivery cost won't be refunded.

What if my item is faulty or damaged?

If something's not quite right with your order, whether it's damaged, faulty or anything in between, just let us know. We'll arrange a repair, replacement or full refund, and get it sorted quickly. Give us a call on 0203 141 8300 or fill out this form and we'll take care of it.

Can I return something to a Loaf shack?

Unfortunately items cannot be returned to a Loaf shack even if you purchased it in store, but it couldn't be easier to get a return started, just follow the instructions below.

Can I return items purchased using Retail Finance?

For order placed using V12 Retail Finance where a return is requested and there are any outstanding charges (including delivery, collection, or removals fees), these must be settled using an alternative payment method prior to collection being arranged. In such cases, the finance agreement will be cancelled.

If an order placed using finance is returned in full within the returns period, the finance agreement will be cancelled. Any deposit paid at the time of purchase will be refunded to the original payment method once the returned goods have been received and processed.

If a partial return is made and the remaining balance of the order falls below the minimum finance threshold of £150, the existing finance agreement will be cancelled by our finance provider. In this situation:

  • The finance agreement will be terminated.
  • Any deposit paid will be refunded to the original payment method once the return has been processed.
  • Any outstanding balance for goods retained by the customer must be settled directly with Loaf.
Can I make changes to my order instead of returning?

Customers may request amendments to their order within 14 days of placing the order, provided the goods have not been dispatched. After 14 days from the date the order was placed, amendments are no longer possible. In these circumstances, the order will need to be cancelled and a new order placed.

For orders placed using finance, the following conditions apply:

Any amendment that results in an increase in order value or a change of mind (including changes to product, fabric, or colour) cannot be processed as a direct amendment (with the exception of the service items detailed below). In these circumstances, the order must be cancelled and a new order placed. Where finance is selected again, this will require a new application and agreement.

Can I cancel my order instead of returning?

Customers may request to cancel an order or individual items within an order provided that a delivery has not yet been arranged and the goods have not entered the delivery network or been dispatched.

Once delivery has been arranged or the goods are in transit, the order can no longer be cancelled. In these circumstances, customers should:

  • Reject the unwanted item(s) at the point of delivery, or
  • Accept delivery and arrange a return

Where an order placed using finance is cancelled in full prior to dispatch, the finance agreement will be cancelled and any deposit paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

Where an order is partially cancelled, the finance agreement may be amended or cancelled depending on the remaining order value and the minimum finance threshold set by our finance provider V12.

How to return an item?

Start by working out what size category your item falls into, whether it's teeny (like mugs, throws and lamps), medium (think footstools and mirrors), biggish (armchairs or single mattresses), or large (sofas, beds and other big pieces). Large

Fill out this form or give us a call on 0203 141 8300 within 14 days of accepting your delivery and we'll arrange to collect your purchase from you. A £95 collection fee will be charged and the original delivery cost won't be reimbursed.

Biggish

Fill out this form or give us a call on 0203 141 8300 within 14 days of accepting your delivery and we'll arrange to collect your purchase from you. A £35 collection fee will be charged and the original delivery cost won't be reimbursed.

Medium
  1. Fill out this form to request a return within 14 days of accepting your delivery, or give us a call on 0203 141 8300.
  2. We will issue you with a (boring but important) Sales Return Number.
  3. Please wrap your item as securely as possible so that everything is tickety-boo when it arrives back at our warehouse.
  4. Remember to write your Sales Return Number on the outside of your parcel. This will help us to speed up your refund.
  5. We'll arrange a collection from your address on a day that suits (Monday - Friday).

Once you've returned your item we'll refund you in full - including the delivery costs if you're returning your full order.

Small & teeny

(Including items purchased as takeaway in our Shacks)

  2. We will issue you with a (boring but important) Sales Return Number.
  3. Our carrier DPD will also email you with a return label to print out.
  4. Please wrap your item as securely as possible so that everything is tickety-boo when it arrives back at our warehouse.
  5. Remember to write your Sales Return Number on the outside of your parcel. This will help us to speed up your refund.
  6. Then stick the DPD return label on top of your package and take it to your nearest DPD Pickup Shop. With 2,500 locations to choose from you won't have to travel far.

Once you've returned your item we'll refund you in full - including the original delivery costs if you're returning your full order.
