For those who love that deep, sink-right-in feeling.

FAQs
How to clean and maintain?
Looking after your sofa helps it stay comfy for years to come. Regular vacuuming, treating spills quickly and following the care instructions for your chosen fabric all make a difference. Cushion maintenance varies depending on the filling, so if you're wondering how often to plump or rotate yours, head to our dedicated plumping guide.
What is the fillinf composition, and how does this impact maintenance?
Each cushion filling is made differently, which is why they feel different and need different levels of upkeep. Feather-wrapped fillings offer a softer, more relaxed sit but benefit from regular plumping. Foam-based fillings hold their shape more easily and need much less attention. Whichever you choose, we'll always tell you what to expect before you buy.
Can I change the filling?
Some of our sofas are available with a choice of cushion fillings, while others are designed around one specific filling to achieve their signature comfort. If you're unsure what's available on a particular sofa, our Shack team or Customer Experience team will be happy to help.
Why do two sofas with the same filling feel different?
Cushion filling is only one part of the comfort story. Seat depth, seat height, suspension, frame design and sofa proportions all affect how a sofa feels to sit on. That's why two sofas with the same filling can still offer very different comfort. The best way to find your favourtie is to rest test them in one of our Shacks.
What's the different between foam and feather fill?
Foam and feather each have their own character. Feather-filled cushions give you that soft, sink-right-in feeling many people love, but they'll need more regular plumping to keep them looking their best. Foam cushions feel more supportive, spring back into shape more easily and require much less maintenance. If you'd like the best of both worlds, fillings such as our Feather Topper combine supportive foam with a layer of feather for softness.
