Just who is Emily Pickles?

Our Kathryn recently discovered an old navy school jumper in her attic that still had a name tag lovingly sewn into it. The problem was, it read "Emily Pickles" which is most certainly not her name.
Does Emily Pickles (whoever she is) still wonder whatever became of her jumper? Does she still search for it in vain? Who knows. All we know is, our new duo of desks are better than anything we had at school. Other people's jumpers included.
