Same same but different
Meet the Arbee sisters (siblings to our Head of Snaps, Shirin). Look identical, don't they? Twins perhaps? In fact, one of them is TWELVE years younger than the other one! Can you guess which one? I couldn't.
Our wonderful Wobbler ceramics are of a similar ilk: to the fleeting eye they're identical to one another when in fact each piece is individually made by the hands of very clever Portuguese artisans.
So what's the moral of this story? No two things are exactly the same? The beauty is in the detail? Don't judge a book by its cover?
We're not sure. But we do know that handmade loveliness is always, always, always prettier than mass-produced stuff. No question.
