I've loved banyan trees ever since I saw one in a picture book
as a kid. So it was a happy day when I was browsing through a
market close to our furniture makers in Jaipur and spotted a
beautiful banyan nearby.
Leaning up against one of those twisty trunks was a massive
mirror with an intricate monochrome frame. It turned out it was
bone inlay handcrafted by our Indian friends and they were
brilliant at doing it.
So we put our heads together and came up with these guys:
photo frames (see above) and... Banyan mirrors
They're beautiful with a capital 'B'!
