Old dogs and Excel tricks

If someone says Excel we immediately think spreadsheets.

We use them all the time in our office, sometimes to the point where they make our eyes go a bit squiffy.

So when we saw these paintings created by some 73-year-old Japanese dude we couldn't believe he made them using Excel alone.

Turns out Tatsuo Horiuchi got bored in his retirement and made the humble spreadsheet his canvas. Now that's a pretty nifty new trick for an old dog. We only hope he didn't go cross-eyed in the process!
