Uniform sunbathing or loafer's paradise?

Well neither actually...

Well neither actually, it's an album cover. Although wouldn't it be great for loafing en masse?

For their album "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" Pink Floyd positioned 700 wrought iron hospital beds on Saunton Sands and snaked them off into the distance. Not an ounce of photo shopping in sight.

It took two days to get the shot just right so they left a single bed on the beach overnight to see what happened when the tide came in. In the morning the bed was gone.

We like to think it made it to France.
