Overview of Wincanton delivery service

We use Wincanton as our delivery partner for all shipments that require a 2-man crew and a larger vehicle. All Wincanton crew are trained on how to handle our products. Outside of lockdown, Wincanton delivery crews will deliver to the room of your choice, assemble your product and remove the packaging.

Our delivery crew continues to deliver large 2-man items (e.g. sofas) to your room of choice. However, in response to the current nationwide lockdown, we have taken the decision to temporarily pause our assembly service. This means we will not be able to assemble large items like beds and wardrobes and, because of this, we won't be able to take away the packaging either. But if you have ordered an item that requires assembly then please do not worry! Our furniture is super simple to assemble. And the instructions will be provided inside the packaging.

They won't unpack any small or medium things they've delivered and they'll ask you to hang onto the packaging from these goodies (in case you decide to send stuff back)!

Health and safety is our top priority. To protect against COVID-19, our delivery crew adhere to the very strict social distancing guidelines released by the British Retail Consortium while in your home. To ensure the safety of our customers and delivery chaps all crews will be provided with hand sanitiser, sanitising wipes and PPE. The transport crews will be planned in a consistent partnership and vehicle while social distancing is in place. If requested to do so the crews will wash their hands on entry and exit of the customers home. DPD and Parcelforce (who deliver small and medium things for us) continue to offer safe, non-contact delivery to your doorstep, as normal.

Wincanton delivers Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm. Wincanton will contact you directly to book a delivery date. You will also receive a text message/email 48 hours prior to your delivery to advise you of your 2-hour delivery window.

What happens if all your items are in stock at point of purchase?

If your order is being delivered by Wincanton and all your items are in stock at the point of sale, you'll be contacted within a few days to book your delivery.

How soon can you deliver?

While we usually deliver within 12 working days of the items arriving in our warehouse, some deliveries are currently taking up to 21 working days. This is due to very high demand and while it's not as quick as we usually like, we're confident it will be worth the wait!

What happens if your order contains a made-to-order item?

If your order is being delivered by Wincanton and contains an item that is being made to order, e.g. a sofa with a fabric of your choice, then you'll be contacted by Wincanton 21 days prior to your item(s) being ready for delivery.

Booking your delivery date in advance means that you have more time to prepare for your delivery and gives you greater visibility of when you can next expect contact after you place your order.

What happens if not all items are in stock at point of purchase?

If your order is being delivered by Wincanton and contains any item that is currently out of stock (including smaller items, e.g. a lamp or side table), you'll be contacted by Wincanton 21 days prior to your item(s) being ready for delivery.
